Inspiring Insights

“Don’t underestimate the power of building a brand. People need a brand they can connect with and tell a story. You’re giving people an incentive to talk about your brand and connect with it on a deeper level, something many companies are missing today.”

Business Spotlight

Chews with a cause

Bradley first joined Ward4 as the founder of his marketing agency, Riseable, looking for a space to grow his business and connect with other entrepreneurs. That community sparked new ideas — and while researching ways to merge his marketing skills with his passion for pup welfare, he discovered coffee wood, a sustainable material already used as a dog chew in other parts of the world.

In 2023, Bradley launched Mumbies — a natural chew brand offering what many pup parents now call the “indoor stick.” It’s a safer alternative to backyard branches and synthetic toys, designed to satisfy dogs’ natural urge to chew while helping clean their teeth, reduce anxiety, and keep them happily occupied.

“What makes Mumbies unique is that it fills a real gap in the market. Dogs need to chew, but most options aren’t ideal. Food-based chews add unnecessary calories, hard chews like bone or antler can fracture teeth, and synthetic ones are full of toxins and plastic. The coffee wood used in Mumbies satisfies a dogs natural desire to break things down and it lasts a long time.”

Since its launch, Mumbies has expanded the product line and shipped more than 20,000 orders directly to customers — all from an idea that took shape inside Ward4’s walls.

For Bradley and the whole team, Mumbies isn’t just about chews. It’s about impact. Every purchase helps fund animal rescues and shelters, keeping that original dream of helping dogs at the core of the brand.

Bradley has grown Mumbies into a sustainable brand that supports both pet wellness and environmental responsibility. Connect with Bradley on LinkedIn — or say hi when you see him around Ward4.
